Hard Things but Ok Things

There has been a few hard things I didn't really feel up to posting about recently. These are just small bumps that will pass and I know I will be able to look these in the past very soon. I'll start with my hair.  You know, when I was diagnosed it was so not one of my concerns. I knew that people lost their hair because of chemo, and I wasn't too worried. I was excited to change up my hair with this opportunity and donate it to children with cancer. I really hope those 8.5" made someone as happy as my hair always made me. On Sunday, April 2nd at about 8:30, I finally got the courage to shave it. At this point my hair was coming out every minute. Anywhere from a few strands to many many chunks. Luek you're too attached!

So we got some new news a couple days ago. On my 14th day in the hospital they do something called a bone marrow biopsy. Which is when they put this needle in my hip bone through my back to pull out bone marrow. It is so not pleasant but it's really fast and not terrible . The worst part is when they pull bone out. So the results of that came back and showed that I still have quite a bit of leukemia cells in my body. This isn't necessarily bad news. 1 out of 3 people who get treated for leukemia need to have a second round of chemo. They warned us about this and that it just means that my body didn't metabolize the chemo as much as it was supposed to. Hopefully this last round will be it though! This means an extra couple weeks in the hospital. And then when I get out I may need to go back for additional chemo tr...
